I suppose you're right in that 'important things' could be the purpose for this device's channels, but it hardly will matter. I doubt everyone else is using it for serious and grave discussions.

[Not that Nuwa is a spontaneous or jokey soul. If it was up to her she really would use it only for important things, hah]

It's more... we can just find each other if we want to talk. This place isn't that big. And people who vanish to these other places can't use the walkie-talkies. Or ... at least I couldn't. So there's not much to use them for, right?

Certainly not. The only animals I have seen so far are those other people here brought as company. I suppose this mechanical rat doesn't belong to anybody here?

[There's a little bit of a rat theme on this truck stop, if the rat overlord gummy message is any indication. Perhaps it's a clue as to what's going on over here]

Not that I know of. At least, not one of us. Sora and I explored a room behind the convenience store counter, and it attacked us. Well... it jumped at us, but froze, and then we were suddenly outside again.

I wasn't sure if anyone else had seen it, too.
