After getting out of your truck, you will find one (1) walkie-talkie somewhere on your person. Try not to lose it! It may be difficult to find a replacement. In the event that it is ICly lost, please let us know in your mod DM right away.
There are a total of 13 frequencies that the walkie-talkie can access by turning a dial. When you first find it, it will set to the same frequency as the walkie-talkie among your truckmate's belongings, and the frequency number matches the number on your assigned truck. Use it to keep in touch with your buddy via PCs, even when you're apart!
While your walkie-talkie's frequency can be changed, it can only be changed at certain times. Attempts to do so prior to the designated time will fail; turning the dial will result in an unearthly static shrieking which will last for a few seconds before your walkie-talkie reverts back to the frequency it was on before you attempted to change it.
Your walkie-talkie's frequency can be changed on Sunday evenings, before you go to sleep; however, the change will not take effect until Monday morning when you wake. If there are more than two characters on the same frequency, we will link you to a post which will be filtered to all characters on that frequency when the mingle goes up, as you will all be able to hear anything said through them.
If there are only two of you on the same frequency, we will let you know so that you can use your walkie-talkies in your own PCs. If you are the only one on that frequency, we will express our condolences that you are alone. :'(
Should your character decide to change their walkie-talkie's frequency, please comment to the appropriate header to let us know no later than 11:00 AM EST on Monday. If you do not comment before that time, your walkie-talkie will be locked to the same frequency as it was on before until the next opportunity to change it.
