it's alright, because Naib knows which direction he ran in. he couldn't have gotten that far-- unless the man got some zoomie tech shoes?? but it's the only way he can think of them to go. to ensure the man gets there alive and... if he doesn't? maybe finish the job.
the smoke does help at least keeping further hidden (2x stealth?!?!) from at least this machine following them, if it works long enough. and don't question things okay, they're in the middle of a hecken war zone and Naib is teetering on and off from panic attacks.
